Hai Phong adds 1 industrial park with a total investment of nearly 4,600 billion VND

Investment project on construction and business of infrastructure of Tien Thanh Industrial Park, Tien Lang District of Tien Thanh Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company has a scale of 410 hectares, built in Tien Thanh and Cap Tien communes, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city, with a total investment capital of 4,597 billion VND.

This afternoon (June 22), the Management Board of Hai Phong Economic Zone held a meeting to hand over an Investment Registration Certificate for the investment project of construction and infrastructure business in Tien Thanh Industrial Park, Tien Lang District and projects in Industrial Park, Economic Zone of Haiphong in June 2022.

Investment project on construction and business of infrastructure of Tien Thanh Industrial Park, Tien Lang District of Tien Thanh Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company has a scale of 410 hectares, built in Tien Thanh and Cap Tien communes, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city, with a total investment capital of 4,597 billion VND. The project is adjacent to the road connecting District Road 25 to National Highway 10, connecting with Tien Lang Industrial Cluster, Giang Bien Industrial Cluster and Giang Bien II Industrial Park, creating a cluster of links for industrial development of area. This is one of the key projects of Hai Phong city, expected to start construction right in 2022, soon to create a ground to attract secondary investors, promote the development of various types of industry and services of local.

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Thanh Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company, said that the goal of the project is to build a synchronous and complete Tien Thanh Industrial Park according to the criteria of a green, clean and multi-sector general industrial park with modern technical infrastructure system; creating a strong attraction for domestic and foreign investors, contributing to promoting sustainable growth of the industry in particular and the economy of Hai Phong city in general. When the project is put into operation synchronously, it will contribute to creating jobs for more than 30,000 employees, creating a stable and long-term income source, promoting socio-economic development of the locality and surrounding areas.

On this occasion, the Management Board of Hai Phong Economic Zone also awarded Investment Registration Certificates to projects, including: Project of manufacturing and manufacturing components for HMT Hai Phong automobile passive safety system of HMT Haiphong New Materials Technology Company, Nam Dinh Vu CN3-03 development project of investor ESR V Investor 4 Pte.Ltd; the project of GNP Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Center of Classic Leaf Vietnam Company Ltd; 2 capital increase projects of Phi Hong Vietnam Compnay Ltd and Shin-Etsu Vietnam Magnet Material Company Ltd.

According to Mr. Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, in the first six months of this year, Hai Phong’s industrial zones and economic zones have attracted 21 new foreign investment (FDI) projects and 18 FDI projects adjusted to increase capital; total attracted capital reached 755.75 million USD, equaling 56.2% over the same period last year.

“Up to this point, we have attracted USD 22 billions in industrial parks and USD 12 billions in domestic investment. I also hope that Tien Thanh Industrial Park, investors will work with the Management Board to build a new IP, the model according to Decree 35 of the Government. We have the shape to build an ecological industrial park; secondly, have wastewater treatment technology, in accordance with the spirit of attracting high-tech industrial investment; thirdly, there is 15% for innovation” – Mr. Le Trung Kien said
